As Production Director for Cake London, Black Pearl Director Troy Morgan produced the spectacular Game of Thrones first season wrap party for HBO.
The event was attended by the Game of Thrones Film Directors, Writers, Cast and Crew and VIP guests.
The Guests were sent invitations to enter via one of two separate entrances in to the labyrinthine Old Vic Tunnels beneath London’s Waterloo Station. Half of the Guests entered Pentos via a souk with traders hawking spices, while the other half entered Winterfell via a dramatic scene of an overturned horse cart and dead bodies illuminated by lightning flashes.
Pentos had a North African and Middle Eastern feel, while Winterfell was medieval European in style.
Guests could find their way from one world to the other by following clues and meeting a Shaman in a dank cave seated on a bone throne whispering incantations.
Performances were impromptu and called up when the mood was right creating a spontaneous feel to the evening. They included Masai warrior drummers, a snake charmer, contortionist, fight scenes, Dragon Dancers and a recreation of the famous heart-eating scene from the series.
